Lauren Baldwin
Head Coach 14s Wildcat Team

Lauren is a 7th year Moxie coach who previously coached for Northwest Juniors and Liberty High School. She played as a setter for Liberty High School's Varsity team for 3 years, Sudden Impact's club volleyball team for 4 years, and then finally for Chapman University's collegiate team. Some of the things she enjoys in her free time are spending time with family and friends, walking her dog Harlow, yoga, attending sporting events, reading, and of course watching and playing volleyball!

Lauren's coaching approach is team-oriented. She enjoys teaching players how to interact cohesively to achieve positive results. She believes that it is important for players to build mental skills in addition to physical skills since volleyball is largely a mental sport and requires consistency and confidence. Lauren enjoys watching players learn and grow in this aspect. She also believes that the foundational skills are the most important, especially in the younger ages groups. Most of her coaching approach centers around emphasizing foundational skills, working well together as a team, and improving mental toughness.
